Henk Butterman graduated as an electrical engineer in 1971 with application courses in instrumentation, microprosessors, scada, management and teaching.
In 1971 he started as a contractor for central heating and air-conditioning; in the period 1974 - 1992 he worked for Tebodin, an engineering firm on many different projects. For Tebodin Middle East Ltd he worked for 6 years in Abu Dhabi. In the period 1992 - 1997 he was head of the department electrical for a consultant company: in the period 1997 -2004 as a head of an engineering department and advisor.
Sinds 2005 Henk works for Quercus Technical Services as a trainer for low voltage and explosion safety.
